Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
I’m Gina, a TESOL-certified elementary school teacher, resource creator, writer, traveler, baker, and aspiring kindness guru. I love helping educators foster meaningful relationships with their multilingual students that promote both their English language development and social emotional wellness. I truly believe that kindness can change the world, so join me in the Kindness Community and be a part of the change!
About

Kindness
Kindness Matters. Ever since I started teaching with kindness first, my students’ confidence soared, along with their happiness, effort, and school performance. It’s my mission to bring kindness into our schools and communities, starting with us! No act of kindness is too small.
Communication
Communication is vital for relationships to thrive. My passion has been to help people find their voice - specifically, in English! One thing that astonishes me about my students’ progress is how kindness can make an impact on communication. I love to hear their kind voices in action!
Connection
There is no better (or more fun) way to feel inspired, share ideas, or learn more about your field than by getting to know the incredible people with whom you share your passion. The challenges of 2020 were tough, but also opened up a world of possibilities for connection and global kindness.
Curiosity
Curiosity got me here… how about you? As an educator, I love teaching - but I also love learning! I’m grateful to have the opportunity to learn from others every day. One of the best parts of being an educator is sharing your interests with students and getting them curious about the world.

Burnout. It’s become a buzzword these days… especially in the field of education. What even is burnout? Our favorite online doctor, WebMD, explains that “burnout happens when you’re overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to keep up with life’s incessant demands.” Sounds a lot like teaching, right?
